What if I move? Can the Hidden Pet Fence system be transferred to my new house?
A: Yes! You can take the essential components of your invisible pet fence system to your new home, including the transmitter, surge protector, and receiver collar, reducing the need for costly replacements.
- If you move within a 60-mile radius, our team can reinstall the system at a discounted rate to ensure a smooth transition for you and your pet.
- If you relocate beyond 60 miles, you can hire a professional invisible fence installer in your new area to set up the system and install new underground wiring.

Can I have multiple pets on the Hidden Pet Fence system?
A: Yes! Our underground pet fence system is designed to accommodate multiple pets. Each pet will need its own compatible receiver collar, which we provide. We customize the pet containment system and training to ensure all your pets understand and respect their boundaries, keeping them safe and secure in your yard.
How long does the training process take?

About Hidden & Invisible Fences
What's the difference between a hidden fence and an invisible fence?
They’re the same thing — just different names. “Invisible Fence®” is actually a brand name, but most people use it to mean any underground, hidden dog fence. We install hidden dog fences, also called invisible dog fences or underground dog fences, throughout Southwest Florida. So if you’ve been searching for an “invisible fence,” you’re in the right place.
How does a hidden dog fence work?
A thin wire is installed around the edge of your property. Your dog wears a lightweight receiver collar. As they get close to the boundary, the collar gives a gentle warning. With a little training, your dog quickly learns where the safe zone ends and happily stays inside it. No tall fences, no blocked views.
Will a hidden fence work on my breed or size of dog?
Almost always, yes. Hidden dog fences work for everything from small dogs to large, strong breeds. We’ll match the right collar and training approach to your dog. If you’ve got a tiny pup or a stubborn escape artist, just let us know and we’ll set things up accordingly.
Is a hidden dog fence humane?
Yes. The correction is a mild static warning — more of a “hey, not past here” reminder than anything painful, similar to the little zap you get from carpet static. Paired with proper training, most dogs learn their boundaries fast and end up with far more freedom than they’d have on a leash or in a crate.
Will the collar hurt my dog?
No. The collar delivers a safe, mild correction designed to get your dog’s attention, not to hurt them. It starts with a warning tone before any correction, so most dogs learn to respond to the sound alone. We walk you through proper fit and use so your dog stays comfortable.
Installation & Service
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed in one day. You only need to be available for about 35–40 minutes total — we handle the rest.
Do you serve my area?
We serve all of Southwest Florida and beyond — including Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Naples, and surrounding areas within about a 2-hour radius. Not sure if you’re in range? Just call or text and ask.
Will installing the wire tear up my yard?
No. The wire is installed just below the surface along the edge of your lawn, and your grass recovers quickly. Within a couple of weeks you won’t even know it’s there.
What happens if there's a wire break?
Wire breaks are rare, but they can happen. If one does, give us a call — we’ll locate the break and get your system back up and running. You get direct access to Clint after installation, so you’re never stuck wondering who to call.
What happens during a power outage?
When power is out, the boundary signal is off, so we recommend keeping your dog leashed during an outage just to be safe. Once power is restored, the system goes right back to working as normal. You can also add a battery backup — just ask.
Training
How long does training take?
Most dogs are fully trained in about 10–14 days with short, consistent sessions twice a day. We give you on-site training guidance plus a 7-minute training video so you know exactly what to do.
What if my dog runs through the fence?
With proper training, this is rare — but if it happens, it usually means the training needs a quick refresh or the collar fit needs adjusting. Reach out and we’ll help you get your dog confident with their boundaries again.
Can an older dog still be trained on a hidden fence?
Yes! You can absolutely teach an old dog new tricks here. Older dogs often train just as well as younger ones — sometimes faster, since they tend to be calmer and more focused.
